With veterinary assistance, our nutritionists have worked carefully to formulate a hypoallergenic recipe, combining high quality protein from 100% British Chicken. This high protein ferret food is further enhanced with prebiotic FOS & MOS to support your ferret’s digestive system and yucca extract to help minimise stool odour. To help maintain a healthy skin and coat, fish oil has been included; whilst supplementary taurine is added for your ferret’s overall health and wellbeing.

Vitalin Ferret British Chicken is a complete, balanced pet food suitable for ferrets.

These notes are intended as a guide only and exact feeding amounts should be varied according to your ferret’s age, sex, condition and activity levels.

Vitalin Ferret can be fed to kits from as early as 3-4 weeks. During the first week we recommend feeding small quantities of food, softening with a little warm water and replenishing every few hours. Reduce the quantity of water throughout the week and feed dry from the second week onwards on a free feed basis.

Adults should be fed dry food on a free feed basis, but restrict food to 5% of their bodyweight if they become overweight. Pregnant or lactating jills should also be allowed to free feed.

When introducing Vitalin into your ferret’s diet we advise that this is done gradually over a period of 5-10 days until it replaces all other food. Fresh drinking water should always be available.

Chicken Meat Meal (48%), Rice, Chicken Oil, Sugar Beet, Fish Meal, Brewer’s Yeast, Fish Oil (1.0%), Chicken Liver Digest, Fructo-oligosaccharides (Prebiotic FOS) (0.1%), Mannan-oligosaccharides (Prebiotic MOS) (0.1%), Extract of Yucca Schidigera (0.015%).
